Doppelganger consequence

I've drank life to the fullest
so
it drank me too
very
fully

without asking
permissions

you'd never imagine
how
quick
how
cruel
how
completely

how out of
my
attention

left a scared little meatshell
guttercreature
crawlin'
behind all lifeforms
below the Spirit
still young at body
but permanently
dead
at soul

stranger
to all
affection

exploiting invisibilities
shifting overboldly
the Doppelganger
consequence
to the fullest

like ketchup on
sardinecan
dog's tail
or
acid-fed spider's
web
at
last
