Dead fingers decide

Urgency...

where were we
really
on this magic city
corner
singalong delay
tenement thief
houses

ghosts of their
replaceable
lodgers
creeping up chimneys
drawn with our dead city fingers
fumblin' the pudding like sky
in search of the
delave

practicing our senses
on white meat
& soybean
dimmed sky enlacement
oppressant
courageous

there must be some kind of
underwater
surface
passable

but where is the passing
while we were really
on this magic city
corner

let dead
fingers
decide
