"Acid in the Lucid Air"

It's spring and everything's in bloom
But I prefer the shadow of the moon
It's night and I can hear you talk
It's day and I ain't seen you walk

To me you're acid in the air
Acid in the lucid air
To me you're acid in the air
Acid in the lucid air

I think I remember your dream
I stole the plans for your machine
It's love and everywhere I look
Holy flowers replace your saddened books
Concrete breaks my heart no more
There's grass and seeds of time on the floor

I work in the shadow no more
I work in the shadow no more

I'm child of space again
On gamma rays
Driving through the streets
Of broken days
Speeding radioactive on my bones
Throwing all the kings off their thrones

To me they're acid in the air
Acid in the lucid air
To me they're acid in the air
Acid in the lucid air
