"Magic Living with Your Child"

Your love is like a honey tree
I keep on shaking, it comes back to me
Nothing hurts my heart at all
When I’m drinking on your sweet parole

Magic living with your child
Driving everybody wild
All I need’s just one more kiss
Till I know just what I missed

Charlie man has gone down low
Where clean-cut boys don’t dare to go
Blowing trumpets on white streets
Where the black-end corners meet

Magic living with your child
Driving everybody wild
All I need’s just one more word
Till my viewpoint’s clean and bold

Boredom weeps with saddened eyes
Tries to take you by surprise
I’ll keep shaking down your tree
You’ll keep coming down on me

Magic living with your child
In the eyes that make me smile
All I need’s just one more squeeze
Tired of living on my knees

"Busker's Warning"

I’ve just seen
All the movies of the world
I just saw
Every face I’ve ever known
And I hope
I’m not late for any show
Cause I’ve been
Every actor, every role

It’s just an old, poor busker’s final warning
On a cold, thick, dead December morning

I just fly
Thru a ruined galaxy
I just float on any wave
That’s carrying me
It’s a black hole of my youth
You know it’s true
So I’m missing every word
I had with you

It’s just an old, poor busker’s final warning
On a cold, thick, dead December morning

I’ve just caught
All diseases of the world
I just cured
My young mind from feeling old
Your religion changes nothing
System’s shut
So are all distorted, blinded
Human eyes

It’s just an old, poor busker’s final warning
On a cold, thick, dead December morning

"Tylko Miłość"

Na problemy tego świata tylko miłość
Na faszystów i na klownów tylko miłość
Telewizję, mass produkcję – tylko miłość
Sekcje zwłok i rezolucje – tylko miłość

Każdej nocy wznosisz pomnik
I o świcie burzysz go
Każda wojna jest potworem
Który żyje z naszych łąk
Co żeruje na marzeniach
Czemu miłość nie wystarczy
Aby wygrać wszystkie wojny
I nie wrócić z nich na tarczy

Miłość nie wznosi pomników
Miłość – smutny koniec prawników
Miłość – koniec prawa i przeszkody
Miłość – tylko krok od prawdziwej swobody

Każdy biegnie i podziwia
Syntetyczne ułatwienia
Plastikowy kościół słabych
Megafony do zbawienia

"Mistyczny Rytm"

Mistyczny rytm powala na kolana
Mistyczny rytm unosi w górę ramiona
Mistyczny rytm oczyszcza wieczny umysł
Mistyczny rytm obmywa duszę podłych ulic

Skąpany w blasku wyjdź na świat
Oblany światłem wejdź na górę
Spłukany sercem skocz w ocean
Złamany ciszą krzycz w wichurę
I kto usłyszy cię, kto pojmie
Jak wiele znaczy święty dym
Kadzidło Indii i kotary tego świata
Rozsuwa mój mistyczny rytm

Mistyczny rytm otwiera głowy w słońca blasku
Mistyczny rytm, już nie potrzebujesz kasku
Kiedy jedziesz autostradą dwustu pasm
To tylko włosy bogini wszystkich nas
Wszystkich klas

Czy to Jamajka, czy to Indie, czy to Meksyk
Wszędzie słychać jeden wspólny wszystkim rytm
Czy to Afryka, czy to Tybet, czy Syberia
Magiczni ludzie tańczą wszędzie chłonąc dym
Mistyczny rytm

Skąpany w słońcu rozpuść włosy
Spowity mgłą stworzenia przemyj swoje oczy
Nasycony śniegiem przebij swoje uszy
Usłysz wszystko dobrze po raz pierwszy i ostatni
Bezkresne karawany przemierzają cicho świt
Suną poprzez piasek, poprzez zieleń niosąc mit
Stworzyłeś wszystko, teraz patrz gdzie stoi człowiek
Mistyczny rytm już pulsuje w twojej głowie

Usłysz puls tysiącleci
Już nie jesteś nagą małpą
Usłysz puls tysiącleci
Miasto nie jest już twą klatką
Usłysz puls tysiącleci
Tak daleko do nirwany jeszcze
Usłyszy puls tysiącleci
Mistyczny rytm rozrywa powietrze

"Ice Age World"

We’re just children
Ice age children
We’ve been living in the cold
Too long
We’re just dreamers
Ugly dreamers
We’ve been dreaming out this
Frosty alien world

Must get out, must leave fast
Must get out, leave it now
Must remain, must fulfill
All desires, all the wishes anyhow

We’re just sinners
Little sinners
We’ve been sinning since this
Ice age world was born
We’re just leaving
We’ve been leaving
Always hoping for escape
From all the wrong

Must get out, must leave fast
Must get out, leave it now…

We’re still children
Mindless children
Seen the slaughter
And atrocities of ice
It’s a wasteland
Sordid wasteland
Reaching deeper than
We’ll ever realize

Must get out, must leave fast
Must get out, leave it now…

We’ve no feelings
Warmer feelings
We’re just living on our own
Amidst the cold
We’re no wiser
We’re no stronger
We’re just cruel and very slowly
Growing old

"Hazel"

I was sitting dead on the sidewalk, I’ve walked around thirty miles
I left you on the left side of street, my heart was stuck on the right
Traveling like an empty shell of dust and times long past
Weary in the night neon light, disgusted but willing to last
I was thinking about your tambourine, your clothes and smell of your hair
I hardly knew a good man here, I was casting a nervous glare
Sitting wishing the pain would end, secretly craving for life
Better than the dirt I know and shorter than highways of strife
I smoked another cigarette when I caught a glimpse of your eyes
You played a golden trumpet saying how come you got so wise
Took the pen and wrote me down a poem to learn by heart
Many here are sore and depressed, but few of us cure it with art

I raised myself from the curb and I saw angels sharing a drink
Talking loud on people too proud to admit they fell from the brink
Madness, sadness easy friends, if they come around once more
Pass your lady a secret note and bolt all the doors with love
Someone gave me this old key, I believe it’s a magic thing
I was thinking on all you said to me, I believe we lost the ring
Don’t you cry, if you allow I can make you a paper one
I see your dress and it gets me obsessed with pearls and diamonds and sun
If I meet you later on when everything’s settled and free
Gypsy eyes, you hypnotize all the fools except for me
Don’t talk to me, just walk with me, I’ll show you a couple streets
I once knew in the wintertime, all of them were neat

Tears fell from your tired eyes you cried to the depths of my coat
Says how come we’re doomed to drown while sin and falsehood float
Said just take my hand, relax, we’ll drown like we never knew
Score of life, the ruby knife and things I could sell to you
I’m a thief of consciousness, child, I’m precious to the streets
So don’t you hang your head down low and don’t you ever weep
We will make it one more time, there’s nothing to hold us down
Turn the shadows upside down, walk out and enjoy the clowns
Hear the singer sing a tune or see how a poet writes his part
Nothing in this world can make two hearts like ours stand apart
Hours pass with wine and smoke, the guitars you enjoy
Simple thing to make you content, I’ll just show you a brand new toy

We walked down where death alone reigns a quiet world
Cemeteries don’t turn you on, I believe you said it before
Didn’t spoke a word to me, I was reading quotes and truths
Finally written down in stone, just like they always should
Some were wise and some just words of breakfast quality
Asked me must we stay down here, this cold is getting to me
Feel my hand, it’s always warm, don’t worry about the frost
Running down my spine all the time, it’s a feeling of something lost
Can we find a table here, a waiter is coming our way
Dressed in white he’s asking me what will I order today
Have a cup of coffee, sir, you look so faint and blue
Your lady might wish something more, pour her simple truth

Hazel had her drink real quick, and as the truth revealed
She understood that nothing’s right, and everything’s unreal
Have we met in earlier life, or have we met at all
Moon and sun danced before her eyes, cathedral bells did toll
Something’s changed within the street, can sense it in the air
So much trouble waiting for us, much pain we have to take
Everything’s invented, dear, discovered on the run
Everything’s OK with me, but I’m losing faith in guns
Heaven take me to a world where everything is plain
Gifts of new today of love are yesterday’s disdain
There’s no path for you to walk except the path of light
Though darkness welcomes you so warm into the womb of night

Neons of the city gaze, so alluring and intense
Tempt you for the first time child, you’re making little sense
Want to run just everywhere where the lights are opening up
Want to drown in every song, in every poisoned cup
I must keep your heart restrained, you’ll never give away
All the spirits that you have to such a darkened way
Second thrills and minute deals are rotten like the dreams
Of all losers, beggars, users, you can hear their painful screams
Begging for the torture’s end, night is no fair room
Underneath the surface sleeps the cruelty of the moon
Time for true romance, for sure, but also time of fear
On the edge of circling lights you watch me disappear

Can I catch your hand again, go back to city schemes
Thought I’ve heard some angels weeping over missing wings
Thought I lost you in the night, but here you come again
Want to show me bruises of experience and explain
Why you’re tempted by the shadows of escaping night
Must I keep you close to madness, easy friend of mine
Only she’s a helping hand when tramps and hobos ride
Hand in hand with you, my angel, you can never hide
From the ashes of tomorrow thrown right in your face
Bars and taverns of the city ain’t your kind of place
I’ve been through it, I’ve seen through it, now I’m far from home
Dealing with my solitude and a heart of stone

Here’s my suitcase, hand it to me, we’re bound to ride again
Catch the train tomorrow morning, too much smoke and stain
Gotten to my veins and hurried right up tired head
When you think about me, baby, don’t you get so sad
There is nothing I would change in this hopeless life of mine
Sitting on the sidewalk daily watching birds fly by
Watching people throw me dimes or spit into my hat
I’ve seen lots of men and birds, on many curbs I’ve sat
Streets don’t want me out of here, city claims its own
Beggar of a million streets and his little whore
It’s that simple in its eyes, we’re nothing more than that
Though I’ve seen a lot of blood and a lot of blood I bled

Down the drain and in the outskirts, marginal reality
Side line, minor, secondary, creatures never free
Peripheral in the mirror of another day
We are merely stones, my love, getting in the way
Hazel I adore you so I can’t forget your love
Kisses, breezes of a body naked, full of hope
In my bed you were the brightest star of galaxy
I must get out now, my love, and I need company
Out into the nights of forests, nights unkind and wild
I will take myself a wandering, and I take you, child
You will get to know a kind of life you’re missing here
Giant moon in silent trees and voice of god so near

I will miss the guitars surely, I’ll miss your melody
Took me high above the rooftops in the city dreams
I remember you so vaguely, imprecisely true
I can’t see the fragments of delusion you called truth
Somewhere far before our walk, before we met at all
I remember bums of magic selling me their souls
Said I was a thief, remember, said I’m one of them
Gathering just silent movies, pockets full of sand
Everything that fooled me was a part of greater plot
Everything that schooled me is a gift I’m thankful for
Someone said I’ve got no future, with this I can’t agree
There’s a mean old spirit waiting, howling deep inside of me

I can find some happiness, despite the lost year’s pain
I can learn your easy song and recall your favorite name
You belonged to someone else, well I belonged to storms
Baying over city nights, the nights I once adored
I was riding with the thunders just to see your face
Once I thought I finally found you, you left without no trace
Took me ages to explain the place I’m coming from
Took you seconds to accept my broken heart as home
I guess nothing stops us now, our hearts will roam the sky
Every night when lightning sings the blues of our goodbye
Every dawn that kisses you and lays you by my side
Is the dawn when it could end, the dawn when I could die

White Rainbow Magic

I've seen a white rainbow, birth of raven's eye
crashing out of her skin
erecting a wall of vision
pure in perfect disorder
while thoughtless priests surrendered
to Albion’s eves of light
sailed rivers of her hair
praised sunlight at her bridges
as she bathed in the glory of goodbye
white rainbow smiled on her thigh
the morning ended too soon
her kingdom is not of this world, I sighed
and turned eternally down
to the spiral bindings
of a common
comedian’s
sidewalk

Janitor Sun

The sun's now honey and cornflakes
orchid’s breakfast
gigantic taste bud
janitor of night
in basins of remains
drinking his rum
illicit actor of dusk
explicit angel
chatting how life
passes us by
shaking off our madness, slowly
the sun would never care
the sun would never write lines
as useless as these
the sun has no time
for dim offenses
the sun remains where it's always been
five years ahead
or seven behind
the sun don't mind
we should all be alike
we should all be alive
start wearing white
take off the mourning masks
let our bodies be ripped apart
the sun breathes no fumes
no death
no mirrored safety
is one
belongs here
and so do I, you’re learning
stop looking at my
reflex

Basquiat's Head

It felt like a crack in Basquiat's head
transmitting Andy’s
final words
a world of no hospitals, prisons
a world of hotels
white instant galleries
friends repainted
rewritten, infinite
Jesus proved a Polish wanderer
multiplied, sad
stuck to the wall
on fluorescent cross
with neon Jewish crown
twixt other UV heroes
one-second divas
junk on film
black revolution hell
speed and James Dean
primal hip-hop beats
my radio screamed for the whole fucking week
my notebook howled
my children cried
my kitchen bled tons of wine
my beard grew longer
my bathroom held bones of Jimi Hendrix
the chicken sun refused to shine
and I never managed to paint my graffiti
fix my banjo
or pay a visit to Annie
8mm skies fell down
showing dark Haiti voodoo
but really
it felt like a crack in Basquiat's head
not at all a ceremony
unexpected golden dawn
on willing hearts
and wide open arms

Humble Cold

I take a look at everything, blessed
but disenchanted
on anxious figures in the dark
crawling forsaken
under iron heels
of time

Nomadic pain
utters so little, watching the night
uprising
without a chance for home

Seconds belong to me, the ashen cut
far from the young pretender
weeping at railroads and oceans
with corpses laying spread
sure of contrast
and fervor pressing love

Cooling my time, at windows
of sin, glowing like a lost mild bird
soaring with hopes but bound
with famine, asses singing with me
carrying the message of sun
safe in shadowy burn

Pallid thief
dressed in fluttered flutes
rolling angry, in vain
thru wishes of a shattered
interpreted world
hunting for laughter alone – cast
in the humble cold

Flashes with Tears

Gloat and mope on stars… one ancient midnight
angels smell your heart… sinking drums,
to you it’s life – calm listening voice, the long
met cold, dark blue eternity – world
has no senses… it rests beneath your lips
curls of soul, absolving… marble stays
here, waxes flow… walking on my skin
the green, the wide… grass rolling your
traveler’s touch… this is your morning
shadowy oaks enthrone chimera – born on names
of grief – harmony’s fainter, double
playing the blues on heavenly ladders
coy and young, she knows no salvation… walk
her out – streets, tone, dances, dragging
alone – fissures voicing the river
hearing those swinging roots, moon deep
pain praises dawning, wayfaring
the ocean renewed, while wood in fences
flashes with tears
below you

Deaf Critic

I'll go to Wal-Mart
get "Songs from a Room" (remastered), "Essential Leonard Cohen"
and a Panasonic Arc IV Wireless Men's Wet/Dry Shaver
in this way, I'll be putting across a social message
I'll save you some time
and I'll play deaf critic again
not cutting myself, like before, to rusty little
razorblade pieces

"City of Eternity"

People running, people blind
Wondering what else is to find
In these gates and in these walls
Fatal workers wake-up call
What’s to offer, what’s to see
Echoes to infinity
City silent, growing free
City of eternity

High rise blocks are everywhere
Mind pollution vacant stare
Killer views of brain control
That’s the garden you take toll
What’s to wonder, what’s to be
Echoes to infinity
City silent, growing free
City of eternity

No more forests, no more lakes
Archways proud of granite flake
Heavy sights heartbreaking news
No more sources we can use
What’s to cover, where to flee
Echoes of infinity
City silent, growing free
City of eternity

"Your Mother's Acid Eye"

I shot your mother in her acid eye
It opened up to show a world unknown
Tripping Egypt surfaced on its petals
Moon was nothing in their periscopes

And they flew across the universe
Circled space whole wide
Returned to petals dying
Of your mother’s acid eye

Blood of sunrise came and rested safe
On Himalaya rays of snow and sand
We have found the Ark on plateaus late
Where trees of wisdom grew out of my hand

And they grew across the universe
Reached the roots of time
Returned to sand and snow then
In your mother’s acid eye

Falling leaves they formed a temple
Million thousand light years wide
Thru the black hole we admired creation
Made all love and things of love survive

And they flew across the universe
Now immortalized
Traveled every night sky
In your mother’s acid eye

Now to every world they’re taken
Labors of a cosmic love
Pyramids exploding, rising
On every sunlit friendly shore
Passing galaxies away
Little seeds of men and time
Every atom dances grateful
For a mind that loves all minds

Spread across the universe
Glowing just like wine
Everything was born a comet
In your mother’s acid eye

"Housetrucker"

Let me be the light I’m made of child
Let me be the road I’m singing of
Let me learn the sun I worship strong
Let me be the dawn I slide upon

Cause I’m a housetrucker, child
Ain’t no easy sucker
I’m a housetrucker, child
What I say, what I play
Housetrucker

Let me be the dark I’m built of child
Let me be the moon I’m dreaming of
Let me learn the path I’m running low
Let me be the dusk I slide upon

Cause I’m a housetrucker, child
Ain’t no easy sucker
I’m a housetrucker, child
What I say, what I play
Housetrucker

Let me be the home I’m building here
Let me be the pillars of my youth
Let me care for universal wheels
Let me ride out far for earthly truth

Cause I’m a housetrucker, child
Ain’t no easy sucker
I’m a housetrucker, child
What I say, what I play
Housetrucker

I’m gonna ride for ages for my moon
Gonna ride for ages for my sun
Gonna keep all roads in memory long
Gonna ride until my days are done
Let me be the night I’m thinking of
Let me be the day I’m filled within
Let me be the wheels forever spinning
Let me be the song I’m circling in
